We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Event Medic to join our team and provide exceptional medical care at various events. As an Event Medic, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all attendees, staff, and participants. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often being the first responder to medical emergencies. Your role will involve assessing injuries, providing first aid, and coordinating with emergency services when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will be expected to work closely with event organizers, security personnel, and other medical professionals to create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. This position requires flexibility, as events may occur during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate medical care and first aid to event attendees, staff, and participants.

  • Assess and manage injuries and illnesses on-site, determining the need for further medical treatment.

  • Coordinate with local emergency services to ensure timely and efficient transfer of patients when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all incidents and treatments provided.

  • Collaborate with event organizers, security personnel, and other medical professionals to ensure a safe environment.

  • Conduct pre-event medical risk assessments and prepare necessary medical supplies and equipment.

  • Educate event staff and participants on basic first aid and emergency procedures.

  • Stay updated on the latest medical protocols and best practices in emergency medical care.

Requirements

  • At least L2 First Aid Certificate & Paediatric Life Support OR FPOS, FREC, exceptions made for those in healthcare background [REQUIRED]

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medical services or a related field. [DESIRABLE]

  • Strong knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency medical procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry medical equipment.
