SECURITY Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team, implementing security policies and procedures, and coordinating with other departments to maintain a secure environment. You will also be expected to conduct regular security assessments, manage security incidents, and provide training and guidance to security staff. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and developing effective strategies to mitigate them. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and direction to the security team.

  • Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive security strategy.

  • Provide training and guidance to security staff on best practices and emergency response procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.

  • SIA Door Supervisor L2 or similar

  • Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.

  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

  • Relevant certifications or training in security management.
