We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team, implementing security policies and procedures, and coordinating with other departments to maintain a secure environment. You will also be expected to conduct regular security assessments, manage security incidents, and provide training and guidance to security staff. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and developing effective strategies to mitigate them. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and direction to the security team.
Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive security strategy.
Provide training and guidance to security staff on best practices and emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.
SIA Door Supervisor L2 or similar
Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Relevant certifications or training in security management.
